Regarding a certain missing photo frame

--Private--
Scarlet's missing photo frame seems to have fallen into my hands. I had been curious about it since her post--whatever is in it must be important to her, or she wouldn't have put out a bulletin for it. So, when I found it sitting outside her office, I naturally felt the need to pick it up.

I wouldn't want anything to happen to it before she found it again, after all.

It would seem there is nothing in the frame besides the picture, which was of a couple of children on a swing set, one of whom is presumably Scarlet. The back of the photo had some printing information on it, which I've noted down and stored somewhere safe, just in case it happens to lead to anything interesting.

To be honest, I'm a little disappointed. It was really just a picture?

--To Scarlet--
I believe I found your photo frame. Plain design, silverish color, correct? It was sitting by a garbage bin. I guess whoever took it decided they didn't want it.

It's a nice picture. Who's your friend?

Back in Midgar

"Home sweet home," is it?

Yes, I am back in Midgar. Expect to see me around.

Mixed feelings, as always. Being in Midgar is a bit like being in the center of the universe, but it comes with the price of my father's presence. I could hope that he will leave me alone, but I suspect that may be too much to ask. Still, I can hope.

It's a silly holiday, yes.

I expect offerings of chocolate and stupid cards nonetheless.

Of course all I have to do is walk into school and I will have more than I can count. Or at least, more than I want to bother counting. It's a waste, actually-- I'm never going to be able to eat all the chocolate.

It's sort of a useful measuring stick, though. It's not about caring, it's about who thinks they'll get in trouble if they don't give me something.
