Occupation: None, unless being Pres. ShinRa’s son qualifies as an occupation (He shouldn’t be Vice President at this point, I’m pretty sure)
Appearance: Even at this young age, Rufus carries himself with a professional air. He dresses formally, generally in a pristine white suit, and his blonde hair, hanging just past his ears, is always immaculately combed. His eyes are blue and piercing. He is a bit small and slight of form, but manages to come off as a bit intimidating nonetheless. Both his behavior and manner of dress tend to suggest that he is older than he is in truth. Of course, anyone who is around him enough can tell you he is still able to be very much a child.
Background: As the son of the President of ShinRa Electric Company, Rufus was raised a bit oddly. He went to school with other children, but even as a young child was always set apart from his peers simply by dint of being who he was. It never bothered him much, though; that was simply the way things were and he learned early on to appreciate being in a position of relative power. It has always been expected that he would follow in his father’s footsteps and he would prefer for the following to happen as soon as possible. As it is, he is learning as much as he can about the inner workings of ShinRa and attempting to establish connections that will put him in good position when he does, eventually, succeed his father as President.
Personality: Rufus is a very ambitious person, with a taste for power and control. Even as it stands, he is largely biding his time waiting for his old man to shuffle off so that he can be the one in charge--a sentiment only intensified by the fact that his relationship with his father is a less than loving one. He is particularly aware of how others view him, though unlike what one might expect this does not inspire him to present a classicly good image. Instead, he generally prefers that people be afraid of him. He is hesitant to trust anyone, even those theoretically close to him, unless they have been thoroughly proven trustworthy. Even then, he remains relatively distant from people, gathering servants or advisors rather than friends. This outlook on the world has the side effect of making him just a little bit lonely, but it’s not often that he even acknowledges that himself.
Strengths: Intelligent and observant, cool and collected in most situations (though he has a temper if pressed), oozes confidence to the point of arrogance, can be very intimidating when he wants to be.
Weaknesses: Stubborn, arrogant, and generally not very likable. He can be childish at times, and when it comes down to it he is only 13, so not everyone always takes him seriously.
Weapon(s)/Materia/Limits: He has a shotgun, and access to probably most materia in existence save for the particularly rare ones. He doesn’t commonly carry a bunch of materia around with him, though.
Anything else?: I am going to assume that Dark Nation exists, but probably isn’t very old at this point. Old enough to be somewhat trained, but unlikely to be helping him in a battle, if that makes sense.
